Initial contact was by telephone, Brad was very helpful and took the time to offer advice. Very knowledgeable about diesels. I then needed to have work performed that was far beyond my capabilities, I brought my truck in and the issue was resolved with a detailed explanation of the problems and suggestions for future upkeep and maintenance. I highly recommend Scotts Valley Transmission & Auto Care. They have truly earned my patronage and respect.

I brought my truck in for what I thought would of been a tough diagnosis, but I left paying a fraction of what other shops would of charged. Brad is a wizard. I had my Explorer towed in. He was able to work my repair into the very busy schedule and got it done the next day. Yay! I very much appreciate the kindness and care of everyone I've encountered in this shop. I tell all my friends to go here for auto care. Great shop! Thanks!

The service here is timely, the demeanor is professional and straightforward without being unfriendly. This shop is thorough in their service, as well as information they provide. The work I've had done here (transmission rebuild, clutch work) has been top notch and competitively priced.

My Ford F350 Diesel truck stopped running. We had t towed in and were quoted an hour time to analyze and got a call that they felt they had the problem identified but needed 2 more hours. Then got a call the truck was ready to pick up. Communication was great. I had no appointment yet still had my truck picked up in 2 days. Both times we have been to this company, they did a great job, and the price was not unreasonable.

I have been using Scotts Valley transmissions seriously since the '70s. But it had been 35 years since I needed them last. And lo and behold they are still the same great customer-oriented business. I gave them every opportunity to sell me a transmission and they just wouldn't do it there was nothing wrong with my transmission! So if you want good trustworthy service folks I swear to God this is the place to take your transmissions.

I actually have been using Scotts Valley transmissions since the 1970s. And I just took my van in to get a new transmission or so I thought. I gave them every opportunity to sell me a new transmission, I actually really wanted one, but it was going to be about 3 grand. After leaving it there for half a day, I got a phone call saying you don't need a new transmission, The sound I was hearing did not warrant a new transmission at this time. Now here's the cool thing, I know I'm gonna need a new transmission sooner or later and that if I got the transmission work done there they would deduct the amount I paid them for testing the transmission out, that to me spoke wonders, I am glad to tell you that there are still a few honest service folks, and this is one of the places. In this day and age that is a rare thing.
