Scotts Valley Transmission provided good service and was professional. They did not treat me like a number. I felt like a customer and was given information and knowledge of the problem. The corrective action was not to just replace. They listened to my scenario, analyzed the problem, and took appropriate action to try and resolve.

Rigo @ SVT is the ultimate trustworthy mechanic. He keeps you updated on what SVT finds and what they're doing to resolve the problem. After the starter was replaced SVT had issues with the car starting & dying. They resolved this easily. And, then the car would not hold idle. Rigo felt it may have been due to their use of alternative fuel to diagnose the start/die problem, so they replaced the IACV [Idle Air Control Valve] at no charge & reset the idle too. Thanks guys, you are one top notch shop!
First time customer. Found everyone very professional. Completed repairs on time. No surprises. I liked the policy of returning the vehicle after 150 miles for an inspection free of charge.
