Scotts Valley Auto Repair

I have been using Scotts Valley transmissions seriously since the '70s. But it had been 35 years since I needed them last. And lo and behold they are still the same great customer-oriented business. I gave them every opportunity to sell me a transmission and they just wouldn't do it there was nothing wrong with my transmission! So if you want good trustworthy service folks I swear to God this is the place to take your transmissions.

I actually have been using Scotts Valley transmissions since the 1970s. And I just took my van in to get a new transmission or so I thought. I gave them every opportunity to sell me a new transmission, I actually really wanted one, but it was going to be about 3 grand. After leaving it there for half a day, I got a phone call saying you don't need a new transmission, The sound I was hearing did not warrant a new transmission at this time. Now here's the cool thing, I know I'm gonna need a new transmission sooner or later and that if I got the transmission work done there they would deduct the amount I paid them for testing the transmission out, that to me spoke wonders, I am glad to tell you that there are still a few honest service folks, and this is one of the places. In this day and age that is a rare thing.

I highly recommend Scotts Valley Transmission. Their service is excellent, thorough, and honest. I recently took my Ford Explorer to them fearing that it needed transmission work. Brad was a great detective, and found that the problem was not the transmission. He fixed it, and now it runs like new. I’m very happy with the results.

Have been having issues with my dodge ram 2500 with the 5.9 cummins. i talked mostly with Brad, their diesel specialist, and he was super thorough with his explanations, and took time to make sure i understood what work he wanted to perform on my truck. (he even took the time to email me some information/video on the technical stuff) ive taken this truck to other shops and have been unhappy so i decided to try scotts valley trans for the first time. so far im happy and impressed! definitely coming back.

This was the first time I had ever brought my own vehicle to this shop and they had my truck in and out in less than 36 hours with my problems resolved.
